Hey Peeps! August 16th, 2017 marks the 50th Anniversary of McDonald’s having its first restaurant in Richmond, B.C. And from my previous MoVernie BLOG, I was able to share with you what the first McDonald’s restaurant looks like back in 1967.
But what does this first iconic McDonald’s restaurant looks like now in Richmond B.C in 2017? I heard the iconic restaurant still exist in Richmond, B.C. Same location, still operating and still serving its loyal customers. But I heard it has undergone a major renovation to give it a more fresh modern facelift, with more artistic style to serve its customers while maintaining its history and heritage.
Just like me, I am ALWAYS on the MOVE, my MoVernie SPIES are everywhere and they are ALWAYS on the MOVE as well. One of my MoVernie SPIES lives in Vancouver, B.C. so when I reached out to him for this special mission, he was so excited to accept the mission.
So….here are the photos of the current Canada’s First McDonald’s Restaurant. Authentic photos taken by my MoVernie SPY Adam (THANK YOU!). From the photos, you could see the layout is very spacious and comfy. I really like the brown classic, yet modern sofa.
The McDonald’s Richmond location signage is cool. I luv it when it encourages its customers to use the hashtag #RichmondMcDs to share their memories and experiences with the social media communities.
The most iconic KEY item that distinguish this location from the rest of the McDonald’s is the special plaque that recognizes the 50th Anniversary at this Richmond, B.C. location.
Special thank you to my MoVernie SPY Adam for his hardwork and time over in Vancouver, B.C. And Happy Anniversary to McDonald’s Canada!
