(First Look) 2019 Mazda3 Sedan GT AWD – Mazda x MoVernie Series (1st Installment)

0

Well, to my surprise, we are already entering the spring time in mid-April but the weather is still a bit cold and who knows, there maybe still a chance of snow and ice in the next few weeks. But no worries, I have requested the all-new 2019 Mazda3 Sedan GT AWD for a week long test drive.

This request is significant for me as this is my very 1st time requesting to test drive the Mazda3. I usually request the MX-5 Softop; MX-5 RF or the SUVs. But this time, I had been getting a ton of requests from my followers asking me if I am going to test drive the all-new Mazda3. We all know the Mazda3 comes with sedan and hatchback body types, but for this 1st installment of Mazda x MoVernie Series, I will be test driving the Sedan with all-wheel drive (AWD).

AWD is a huge deal in the Mazda3 lineup in 2019 coz Mazda has never offer AWD in the Mazda3 model before. This is the 1st time that Mazda is offering AWD in the Mazda3 lineup. And to clarify a bit, Mazda has now labelled the sedan as Mazda3 and the hatchback as Mazda3 Sport. Both body types offer the AWD system.

I really wanted to test drive the AWD since there is still a good chance of seeing flurry of snow and ice in April. In fact, today when I picked up the vehicle, it was raining hard. This is definitely a perfect time to test out the AWD in the Mazda3.

MoVernie 1st Impression:

My 1st impression when I went and pickup the key fob? The Mazda3 is a beautiful ride. Does it really stands out from the rest of the crowd, not really, but it does share the same DNA design look from other Mazda models. The Mazda3 looks good from the front to the side and to the back of the taillights. The machine grey metallic body paint on this ride gives it a very high-end and luxurious look. This car definitely looks more expensive than its asking price.

The moment I walked into the cabin. Wow! The use of rich material makes this car a luxury ride. Good spacious space for the front and rear passengers. The black and beige 2-tone interior design added life and energy to this compact car segment. The silver metal panel showing the word “Bose” speakers on the side of the front doors really make this new Mazda3 a special car.

Here is the first drive of the 2019 Mazda3 Sedan GT AWD: I will provide a more detail report at a later time. But for now, let’s enjoy the photos of the exterior and interior of the Mazda3.
