During my Air Canada Press Trip to cover its new Maple Leaf Lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), I decided to stay at San Fran for a few extra days so I can explore and see what’s new in this city.
InterContinental San Francisco hosted me and provided me with my complimentary stay. Thank you!
During my stay, they provided me with a high floor 1 King Junior Suite Corner View (Corner Suite) that overlook the city. With all the corner tall bay windows in the suite, I could see the Transamerica Pyramid, the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and the harbour.
Moreover, I could see the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art building (aka SFMOMA).
There is literally no tall buildings around the Corner Suite, no obstruction view, just purely a nice view of the downtown core!
Without further adieu, let me take you on a tour of my Corner Suite here at the InterContinental San Francisco.
1 King Junior Suite Corner View is located at the end of one side of the hallway. The carpet is super comfy and it’s nicely LIT with natural sunlight penetrating from the hallway window.
I have always prefer room to be located away from the elevator so I don’t have to hear people talking while waiting for the elevators. So, this Corner Suite location is super perfect!
As I tabbed my hotel access card, pushed the door open, the first thing that I noticed was how spacious and huge this room was. There were lots of walking space and not many furniture which I prefer as I don’t want the room to be cluttered with objects. I prefer functional and minimal layout.
I noticed the temperature control panel on the wall and also the make room or do not disturb signal panel was on the wall as well.
The first thing I noticed was all the tall bay windows that wrapped around the entire Corner Suite. From the office desk all the way to the corner and all the way into the big bathroom! Impressive!
The office desk was spacious that fits my laptop, with tons of outlet to charge my phone and other electronic devices. Also, there was a large flat screen TV.
It was a nice touch when they gave me a big bottle of Evian water and a fruit platter along with a “Welcome” card, much appreciated!
The pillar added a nice touch to the corner area along with 2 comfy chairs and coffee table.
The King bed was comfy with awesome pillows and I just to cozy wrapping around with the nice bed sheets.
The closet came with complimentary slippers, bath robes, electronic safe to put my valuables.
I do have to say that…..my favourite spot was the bathroom. It’s a long spacious bathroom that offered both the bath tub and shower stall with a toilet and a sink. The BEST part? The unbelievable tall bay windows that stretches along the entire bathroom.
Imagine you are taking a bath or taking a #2 on the toilet, you are sitting there admiring the incredible view!
And by the way, there is another control panel located one side of the bed that controls the power curtain that opens and closes with a few of the buttons.
I just luv the view of this Suite whether I am in my bed, working at the desk or sitting on the comfy chair or in the bathroom. There is no bad spot in this Corner Suite.
Special thank you to InterContinental San Francisco for hosting me! If I ever come visit San Francisco again, I will definitely choose InterContinental San Francisco even if I have to pay out of my pocket, coz this is a worthwhile hotel for my money. I highly recommend you to consider staying at this wonderful InterContinental San Francisco.
