This week, Kia Canada has provided the MoVernie Team with this all-new 2026 Kia EV4 to test drive for the week. This is an all-electric compact vehicle with the top of the line, EV4 Wind GT-Line Limited FWD that includes lots of goodies and bells & whistles.
Relatively, this Kia EV4 was just launched a few months ago, so you hardly see this EV4 on the road yet. Thus, I do get lots of stares or a few people came over to the shopping parking lot asking me about this EV4. It’s definitely a head turner so far as we speak.
MoVernie 1st Impression:
My 1st impression the moment I picked up this Kia EV4, it looks good, really good. Luv the edgy look throughout the vehicle. It looks good from all angles, whether it’s from the front, side or rear. It’s has great lines, angles, good proportion with well-balanced style.
The exterior and interior reminds me of the Robocop or Halo video game. LOL
Is this really just a compact EV? Coz it looks big, wide and long, super spacious inside the cabin with lots of headspace and passenger space. Even the trunk offers good storage space.
In particular, the Yacht Blue exterior added attractiveness to this EV4. Another colour I also think would look good on this EV4 is the muddy grey. But I still think this Yacht Blue is the best on this EV4 body style.
Although the interior feels very futuristic due to the good mix of grey and white colour combo as well as the long rectangular screens and hexagon looking Kia steering wheel. I do find the material being applied in this cabin space a bit cheap and plastic looking. I don’t really like the plastic chemical aroma in the cabin.
Anyhow, overall, I think this EV4 is very easy to comprehend and drive. It looks good, feels good, drives decently and I really think Kia commitment with launching more EV products will eventually payoff.
