Before I visited Halifax, Nova Scotia, I did a lot of research reading many visitor guides or blog posts written by other bloggers on the top places that they recommend to eat & drink. I don’t know if it’s due to the pandemic and many people didn’t really visit Halifax, I found their recommendations were a bit outdated and were quite off. Some of the places they recommended either no longer in business or the food quality were up to my liking and some of their recommendations were on restaurants that maybe great back in the days but no longer that good as quality and service drops in recent years.
Thus, I have an urge to create this 2023 Top 10 Restaurants & Bars in Halifax, Nova Scotia guide. When we were there, we noticed one major change is happening in the food & drinks industry. There are a existing restaurants who are continuing to evolve and create cool food items and cocktails for their patrons. There are also brand new restaurants that are in popping up in the scene to inject new ideas, new concepts and new dining experience in Halifax. I think it’s a good thing as it’s great for these restaurants and bars to continue to push each other, elevate each other’s culinary skillz and talent as I strongly believe there is room to accommodate all types of cuisines and eatery in Halifax.
