Ripley's Aquarium of Canada - Projected Opening Date (September 2013)

Whenever you walked or drove by the CN Tower or the Metro Convention Centre, have you ever wondered what that new building being constructed from the ground up is for? Guess no more, it is called the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, it’s projected opening date is September 2013.

You know, I am always a huge fan of checking out new things that are happening around Toronto. This aquarium is something I have been waiting for to check out for a long time. I recalled being to the aquarium located in Chicago long long time ago. With a big city like Toronto, it was ABOUT time that we get our very own aquarium, so I am super excited with this new venue.

Here are some fun facts provided by the Ripley Aquarium Media Centre, this new venue will be a 12,500 square-metres (135,000 square-feet) world-class family attraction with more than 5.7 million litres (1.5 million gallons) of water depicting marine and freshwater habitats from around the world.

I can’t wait to check this place out and share many photos, stories and videos with my TV audience, my blogs and twitter followers! Hopefully, I will get a media pass in time to share my experiences with you guys. After all, I love sharks and other sea animals! Stay tuned!
