What You Need to Know When Watching Concerts at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto

We recently watched our 1st ever concert at the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto (Great Canadian Casino) and we enjoyed the overall experience.

We went to watch Aqua the music group from Denmark.

Here are things you should know before you arrive at Great Canadian Casino:

– If you are driving, there are FREE parking throughout the property. We highly recommend you park near the indoor multi-level parking lots near the hotel and walk over to the concert hall. Now, if you are adults of 19+ age, make sure you bring your ID, security will check your age.

– If you are under 19+ age, no worries, there is a route through the hotel and walk up to the 2nd floor and the route walk around the casino and get you to the concert hall. Of course, some concerts are 19+ age or all-ages, so make sure you read carefully the details before you buy your concert tix.

– Make sure you download the app (ticketmaster) or whatever app the concert uses to ensure you have the e-tix ready to enter the venue.

– Also make sure the baggage policy, many casinos or sporting events have a very strict rule of how big the bag allows you to bring. Most often, the venue will NOT allow backpack. So, it’s best you research the bag policy here at Great Canadian Casino and also may just leave the bags in your car (of course, try not to bring any valuables in your vehicle as the casino isn’t responsible for your losses).

– If you are taking Uber/Lyft/Taxi and your family members are dropping you off, there is a drop off area on the side of the concert for you to get in.

– It’s best to go early and settle in and find your seats so you use their washroom facilities, perhaps buy snacks or drinks. They sell beer and other beverages. It’s best you have located your seats so when the concert begins, it’s getting darker, so dark that you may not find your location.

– Come early to check out the merch, many talents will have a booth selling merch, so you want to come early to ensure what you want to purchase don’t get sold out!

– Many of these kisoks are digital and cashless, so be sure to bring your credit cars or other mobile paying devices.

– Check ahead if there is coat check, but since we drove, we just put our light jacket in our vehicle.

– Depending on the show, most often there is an opening act, you may want to arrive early to enjoy that. However, there are people who doesn’t care about the opening act, but wanted to just watch the main feature talent, so you will have to time it knowing the main performer wouldn’t perform right when the venue starts letting people in. Usually, concert main attraction don’t come on later so you can time it based on your past experiences.

– For the concert goers who live far, you can explore the idea of booking a hotel room for the night so after the concert, you can chill at the bar in the casino or just walk back to the hotel, everything is walkable indoor without your need to walk outside. Great Canadian Casino provides a total package where you can check out a concert, dine at a restaurant or pre-drink at a lounge/bar or try your luck in the casino.
