If you are an NBA fan, I am sure you have heard or watch the Chicago Bulls dramatic finish when Josh Giddey pulled up a 47-foot shot from the centre court and drained a 3pter to win the game against the Los Angeles Lakers!

There were many buzzer beaters in the NBA history but what made this extra specials was the sequence of events that happened leading up to this buzzer beater.

In the 4th quarter, the LA Lakers were leading as many as 16 points, then the Chicago Bulls made a few timely 3pter and creeping closer to the score.

With 12 seconds left in the 4th quarter, down by 5 points, the Bulls drained a 3pter, down on by 2 points. Then, Lakers Lebron James inbounded a poor play, leading to a steal by Josh Giddey which passed to his teammate Koby White and drained another 3pter, even giving the Bulls a 1 point lead.

But that was the end, Lakers Austin Reaves made a layup giving the Lakers back the lead by 1 point. But with no time out left, Giddey inbound the ball to Patrick Williams who quickly passed the ball back to Giddey with 3.3 seconds left in the game, Giddey unleashed a straight shot from the centre court logo and made a 3pter to seal the win.

The Chicago Bulls fans erupted and were all going home happy with unbelievable victory!

I think what made this game extra special for me to watch over and over again was that….the sequence leading up to the final buzzer beater. Moreover, the Bulls scored 9 points in a span of only 12 seconds. Having the Legend Lebron James who brainfarted and gave up the inbound play to Josh Giddey leading to a 3pter made by Koby White made the game just so much interesting. Better yet, Giddey registered a triple-double during this game.

I watched the re-play over and over again and still enjoy it greatly! Anything is possible. Unbelievable finish! This will be one of the highlights of a life time in the NBA history.
