Cronut Burgers Anyone? New for CNE 2013

Are you bored with your typical hamburger order at your typical burger joint? Want to order something totally different out of your ordinary eating regime? Look no further! Every year, The Ex (CNE) has tons of surprises in the food department! There are just many featured food items every summer. This year is no exception.

Introducing……the Cronut Burgers! What is a Cronut burger, you asked? Well, although the inventor behind this creation is tight-lipped about its secret sauce and other secret ingredients, it is basically a beef patty with cheese being sandwiched between two flaky hybrid of croissant/doughnut buns. Sounds greasy eh? Well, you know lots of people are up for the challenge! Check out the photos below that are provided by the Epic Burgers and Waffles.

The inventors behind this creation are a joint-venture between Epic Burgers and Waffles with Le Dolci Bakery. To me, that makes total sense, a hybrid collaboration between 2 companies creating a hybrid of crossiant and doughnut, taking the first few letters “Cro” from the word Croissant and the last few letters “Nut” from the word “Doughnut”, you got yourself an awesome “Cronut” burger!

No calories numbers are being released by the inventors, but then again, whoever munch of this wild creation wouldn’t care about it anyways, right? You are attempting this at your own risk!
