Lucky Seafood Restaurant, one of the Chinese restaurants that my family luv to dine is having a summer special promotion. From Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, all small, medium or large size dim sum are priced at a flat price of $4.98 CDN + tax. Normally, a small size dim sum is $4.98 CDN, medium as $5.98 CDN and large size at $6.38 CND + tax. So, this is a great deal.
NOTE: For weekend (excluding holidays), the $4.98 CDN deal is from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. As long as you submit your dim sum order before 11:30 AM (their machine time stamp), then it’s $4.98 CDN order.
Today, I brought my parents to dim sum and we ordered our favourites, and most of our favourites are listed as large so instead of us paying $6.38 CDN per order, it ended up at $4.98 CDN + tax, such a great deal.
Today, we ordered fried tofu with fried eggplant, followed by century egg salty sliced pork congee, then siu mai (steam pork dumplings), steam lotus leaf rice (aka pearl chicken) and BBQ pork pastries (all considered as large size).
Now, I asked the owner, she said for now, the special deal is good for the summer, they will wait and see if they will extend it.
Furthermore, there is a list of 10+ items where it’s $9.99 CDN + tax that also comes with either a century egg salty sliced pork congee or pork bone congee that complements your order. Food items are mainly stir fry noodles, such as chicken stir fry noodles or lobster roe fried rice, or other stir fry rice or noodles. The order is for take out ONLY.
Just imagine getting $4.98 CDN dim sum deal and then order a take out to eat at home later at $9.99 CDN a dish, what a win-win order!
