The 2023 Canadian International Auto Show is open to the public starting tomorrow on Friday, February 17th, 2023 and the show continues until Sunday, February 26th, 2023.
Moreover, this year marks the 50th Anniversary of Canadian International Auto Show (1974 to Present & Counting). Congratulations on this achievement!
At the Hyundai presentation, this Hyundai N Vision 74 Concept caught my attention. I am still thinking about it still, as it’s so unforgettable.
What I like about the presentation was the fact that they started off explaining what is the “WAH” factor with a very detailed definition. Followed by the history of Hyundai, I didn’t know the company started back in the 1970s. I always thought they started in 1985 with the Hyundai Pony.
Anyhow, apparently, Hyundai created a prototype of a Pony Coupe Concept back in 1974, but due to lack of demand, recession and no backing of the research and development, the project got ditched and they only had a few photos of the concept that they could find. So…I thought the background story was interesting.
When they unveil this concept under the wrap, I was impressed. I was like….”They had a concept similar to this in mind? It looks so futuristic! Feels like Back to the Future of the DeLorean.
What I like about this Hyundai N Vision 74 Concept is the fact that it has a retro yet futuristic styling. It’s definitely like a Throwback/Future combo type of deal here. Also feels like one of the vehicles in a video game.
I doubt Hyundai will build it but definitely a concept well-designed car!
