In case you haven’t know, I luv cruises! I luv to travel around the world on a cruise ship as you wake up the next morning, you are already visiting a new port in a new destination! I luv it!
It has been a long while since my last travel on a cruise ship! But the wait is finally over! I am travelling on this brand new cruise ship called “Celebrity Beyond”. This ship was built during the pandemic and it set sail this past April 27, 2022, which means, it’s only 3 months young and we are beyond thrilled travelling on this modern luxury ship!
Celebrity cruises is one of our favourite cruise lines and staying at this brand new ship will only make us luv Celebrity cruises even more.
Celebrity launches a new “Edge Series” and this Celebrity Beyond is the latest ship to be added to the Edge family. The best way to sum up the “Edge Series” is like a BMW with a 4 Series starting lineup, which they first launch a sedan, then a coupe, followed by a wagon and then a convertible and then a hybrid and all-electric version. It’s the same type of concept, with different names but part of the same DNA family that may be slightly different in size but have the similar appearance, sharing similar/identical components (restaurants and bars) and amenities layout.

The third in the Edge-class, the ship was constructed at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard, and entered service in April 2022. The ship is captained by Kate McCue.
