If you are walking around this year’s 2025 Canadian International Auto Show and wonder what is this brand called “INEOS Grenadier”? The chances are….this is a new brand name that entered in the automotive world just not long ago as its mission is to build an off-road SUV that has a look similar to Land Rover Defender and with the capabilities for major off-road terrain and up-hill challenges.
Many brands who once built tough and rugged vehicles have went upscale with a luxurious look and less insane off-road capabilities as many just go for the looks but not really going to drive the vehicles to the terrain tests. Thus, INEOS decided to enter the market as they see there is a niche and a market and there weren’t enough companies who built those off-road vehicles. Their take is that…if no one makes them, let Ineos make them.
