Every year, our MoVernie Team look forward to attend the Media Day for the Canadian International AutoShow (CIAS) being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Why? We truly luv cars and media day is a special occasion where the media and content creators such as our team get to snap photos, take videos without crowds.

Furthermore, we get to see some of the presentations as executives of various automotive brands give us a glance of the latest trends, their newest products or newest features that will wow the consumers.

Mate Rimac, the CEO of Rimac Automobili was on hand to greet the media with the super car parked right in front of the stage.

Moreover, it’s always nice to start off the morning when Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) announce the winners for the Best Car, Best Utility Vehicle as well as Best Electric Car and Best Electric Utility Vehicle.

The climate of the automotive world has changed in recent years as more and more EV are being introduced to the markets. There are less and less of gasoline powered products available for sale.

This year was also extra special as the automotive fan favourite English TV Host, Richard Hammond flew in Toronto as a special guest at CIAS. If you grew up watching the popular British show “Top Gear”, you will know who Richard is.
