Breaking News: As per Shams Charania reports, the Memphis Grizzlies has fired coach Taylor Jenkins after almost 6 seasons with the team.
This is a bit of a shocker and no one really sees it coming mainly there were not much prior news indicating anything issues or wrong between the coach with upper management or owner or the team. Anyhow, what’s shocking is the timing of the firing when the Grizz are in the playoff picture, with 10 regular season games left, no one would foresee a team wants to change their coach coz that’s very disruptive to the team and the locker room entering into the playoffs learning new system, new personnel and staying focus.
Anyhow, with the NBA and any sports these days, anything is possible. Whether you are winning, losing, underachieve or overachieve, no coach is safe.
