Mystère (Cirque du Soleil) Musical – Treasure Island Hotel & Casino – Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

When visiting and staying in Vegas, there are so many activities we can do. One of the best combo for a nice evening out is to enjoy a nice dinner at a nice restaurant, followed by enjoying a Cirque du Soleil show. In my opinion, having dinner at 7:00 pm and watching a show at 9:30 pm is the best way to go for an evening in Vegas.

Mystère is one of six resident Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is being held in a custom theatre at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, the show was first performed on December 25, 1993, making it the company’s longest running show. And we can understand why this show never gets old and why it is the longest running show for the Cirque du Soleil franchise. It’s magical, great fantasy, it allows the audience to leave reality for a little bit and submerge into another dimension with beautiful songs, music, costumes and a large group of performers that interact and bring the audience along the journey.

What is Mystère?

Based on the Mystère official website, it states that, “An intense sensory experience, Mystery features constant motion, high-energy acrobatics, evocative dances, colorful costumes and vivid lighting.”

In case you are curious or unsure what it’s like watching a live show during the pandemic. The health & safety board from Las Vegas has requested people to wear facemask at all times when at an indoor setting. Audiences are asked to wear facemasks at all-times during the entirety of the performance. What we were also impressed was the fact that even the performers are wearing facemasks during their performances (whenever they can) on stage to maintain physical distancing among with their peers. That’s incredible considering they have to run around, jump around, spinning in the air while wearing the facemasks. We appreciate that!
