The morning of the Ford Press Conference was quite an eventful day! Sitting at the iconic Joe Louis Arena (home of the storied NHL franchise, Detroit Red Wings), I was trying to soak up all the excitement and the new Ford products that were unveiled in front of my eyes. Ford had unveiled a total of 3 exciting new products at the Press Conference. And 2 out of the 3 new products were high performance sports cars!!!!!
With the debut of the all-new GT, Shelby GT350R and F-150 Raptor, I don’t think there were any other companies that could even match with what Ford had to offer at this year’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). These weren’t any ordinary debut, after 10 years from the previous Ford GT, Ford came back with a bold new statement with the all-new Ford GT. The 2015 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) has a lot of all-new products making their first appearance but I just don’t foresee anyone even coming close to what Ford had to offer with its world preimere.
The all-new Ford GT comes with a new, twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V-6 EcoBoost engine that said to offer about 600 horsepower. Most interestinlgy, to make the car more lightweight, a construction mix of aluminum and carbon fiber will be incorporated into the body frame.

I would give up carseats for a spin in this car. I won’t soon forget that entrance.
