The anticipation and the wait is finally over as the all-new Great Canadian Casino Resort is now open to the public. And let me tell you, it looks very nice! I just luv the smell of the new carpet!
Here is the quick look at what the new casino looks like, along with its amenities such as the restaurants, bars and other goodies.
There is a casual dining restaurant called “Casual” which serves comfort food in a casual dining setting.
As I walked further, there is also a more fine dining restaurant called “Copperhorn Meet House”, it serves food items such as steak and fancier food items.
There is also “The Eatery“, which currently is blocked off as it’s still under construction. But from afar looking in, the space is quite large and it offers comfort food in a casual setting. (stay tuned when I get a chance to check it out when it does officially open this section).
Moreover, there are fast food options at the food hall section featuring “A-Ho” Sushi, Mary Brown’s Fried Chicken, Noodle Box and Tim Hortons. I really like the spacious food court sitting area. It’s casual and relaxing and no one bugs you.
I like the layout of this casino as it offers a variety of food options for everyone.
Furthermore, there are complimentary self-serve pop machine and coffee machine, so that’s my favourite spot.
There is also a designated smoking area outside that you can smoke.
There are plenty of washroom facilities for everyone to use, pretty much each side of the wall offers a washroom. Men’s, Women’s and Gender Neutral washroom facilities.
Most importantly, complimentary free parking. And of course, they want you to come gamble or experience what this new casino has to offer, so complimentary parking will definitely encourage people to come and check it out.
One of the casino’s entrance also lead to the entrance to the new hotel which isn’t open for business yet.
It looks like there is also a theatre for artists to perform here for a live concert. I can’t wait when it’s open as I luv concerts and live performances. This building is still under construction as we speak.
And more free stuff, complimentary free Wi-Fi which is very fast and strong throughout the building. Yes, I tested it out and it’s #MoVernieApproved.
