There are a number of restaurants and bars to choose from inside the AREA15. But the one that caught our attention is the Oddwood Bar, located right at the centre of the ground level. You couldn’t miss it as it has a beautiful lit up digital tree as a centre piece of the bar.
This is the description from Oddwood Bar’s website “an open-space cocktail bar in AREA15’s main corridor. Sit under Oddwood’s astounding 25-foot-tall digital maple tree as it creates patterns from a myriad of colors, a mesmerizing display of art revering nature, with more than 50,000 individually-programmed LED lights on 5,000 leaves that fill its branches. The venue was conceptualized by Corner Bar Management’s founder, Ryan Doherty, who designed Oddwood as a juxtaposition between the vibrancy of the tree and a collision of brass, bronze and worn wood on the bar tops and other surfaces.”
Right after experiencing the Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart and Wink World, our MoVernie Correspondent, Steven Morana and his guest decided to take a break and enjoy some nice cocktails at the Oddwood Bar.
