We went to this Polar Winter Festival and we enjoyed it very much!
It’s a walk-thru outdoor festival located at the Bandshell Park at the Exhibition Place which has plenty of pay Green P Parking spots. Or you can also take the TTC bus or street cars or take the GO Train and get off at the Exhibition Station, so you have many methods to come here.
Other organizers uses “Drive-Thru” as the method of showcasing their Christmas lights but Polar Winter Festival opted for the Walk-Thru and we enjoyed the Walk-Thru as it’s good exercise, plenty of space to explore and experience and we can take our time to walk around and take as many selfies or videos as we like as we don’t have to worry about any cars driving behind us.
There are so much to see, so many photogenic spots. There are vendors selling unique products, perfect Christmas gift ideas. There are little train ride for kids that you can pay tickets for the rides.
In particular, we like the Silver inflated elephant balloon, we have seen nothing like it. Especially, we luv the food area, there are tons of heaters and bon fire to keep us warm. We ordered some fancy drinks at the Hotel X mobile truck and we ordered some tasty Beavertails.
The best part is seeing all the smiling faces on people when they took selfie with a Real Santa Claus and taking photos with the giant Polar Bear Plush Figure on the Bandshell Stage.
If you are looking something to do during this holiday season, we highly recommended you to bring your loved ones to the Winter Polar Festival. It’s such a great experience.
MoVernie TIP: Do dress warm though since it’s outdoors, but the best part? Outdoor activities, you don’t have to worry about latest government guidelines on reduced indoor capacity during this pandemic.
