Our crew had a fantastic time watching the band “Portugal the Man” at History Toronto!
Let me tell you how much I luv History Toronto, it’s located on the east end of Toronto, featuring a state-of-the-art venue space that I think it’s a perfect size for watching any live entertainment. It’s not as big as the Rogers Centre or Scotiabank Arena, but it’s bigger than many bars or lounges, it creates an intimate venue space for concertgoers that you feel very cozy but not overwhelmed.
I would say, every spot that you stand or you sit at History, it offers a good POV of the stage. You can pretty much see the performers performing from all angles. There is a 2nd floor with some cozy seating arrangements for reserved seating.
Great ambience from the lights and amazing sound system throughout the entire place. The washroom facility at the back of the venue is modern, clean and offer good number of washroom stalls.
Meanwhile, our crew got invited to check out the Premium VIP Experience being offered at almost every concert. We had our own private entrance, private bar, private hostess, private reserved seating with tables, private washrooms and private coat check. And we were situated very close to the right side of the stage. The organizer had definitely spoiled us with such an exclusive VIP experience.

Back to the Portugal the man concert. The opening act happened at around 8:00 PM, performed by an American rock band called La Luz.
