Din Tai Fung, a well-known restaurant name that first started in Taiwan, serving delicious steam dumplings called “Xiao Long Bao” and freshly made noodles has been expanding on the global stage in recent years. From Taipei to Los Angeles, the esteemed Taiwanese dumpling and noodle house has now recently arrived in Las Vegas. It is located right inside the Aria Resort & Casino and only a short walk from Vdara Hotel and Bellagio Hotel.

Our MoVernie Correspondent, Steven Morana and his guest were being hosted at Din Tai Fung and in this MoVernie BLOG, you will be able to check out what Steven and his guest’s dining experience was all about.

First of all, this is a BIG deal that Aria has invited Din Tai Fung to set up shop at this Vegas location within its hotel. Din Tai Fung at the Aria, Las Vegas, has the largest floor space than any other Din Tai Fung locations. This place is huge and it’s modern and luxurious. The long stretches of bay windows added natural sunlight to penetrate into the restaurant. This place is jam packed and it’s always lively. More importantly, it is very rare and precious that at this Din Tai Fung Vegas location that they offer a nice list of cocktails selections that complement with the comfort food being offered at this location.

As many people may know, usually, Asian people pairs the Asian food with hot tea, it’s not often alcoholic beverages are being offered. So, we like the forward thinking of this Vegas location to pair Din Tai Fung’s famous food dishes with the curated unique cocktails. Steven Morana, who is based in Los Angeles, often drive past the LA location of Din Tai Fung and he said there is always a long lineup. It’s great that this time, reservation was being made and he and his guest didn’t have to wait in line for too long.

The first thing every guest will notice, the moment they enter the entrance, is the ability to see through chef’s working station through the glass windows, where the patrons can see the chefs hardworking preparing fresh noodles and dumplings. It’s quite an attraction to see your food is being prepared before you order them.
