Recently, I got invited a VIP Tour to check out the latest new restaurants, lounges, bars and other newly renovation at Rogers Centre. Why is this such a cool experience for me? I luv my beloved Blue Jays and I was eager to check out how Rogers Centre can renovate further to give its fans something to cheer about and to enjoy.
This is quite a premium experience!
After this tour, I honestly have to tell you that I was blown away with all the amenities and how much they have done to elevate your in-game baseball experience.
Better yet, you may even want to host a party/event here even if the baseball game isn’t playing. The culinary scene is top notch and I just luv it!
Batting leadoff as I want to show you is this new Rogers Banner Club, located near the Premium Suites entrance at Gate 8, you take a short flight of stairs and you will see Rogers Banner Club.
Rogers Banner Club features a sports bar atmosphere that captures great Blue Jays moments and includes exclusive views into the home batting cage. How do they capture those moments? They put a number of Silver Sluggers trophies on glass display. If you are baseball die-hard fans, you will know Silver Sluggers are individual awards given to the players who shows their offensive skillz for that particular year.
You can also see Gold Glove trophies on display which are given to the best defensive players best at their respective fielding positions. It’s quite a treat just to stare at these awards. It was my 1st time seeing them in-person.
Moreover, this bar feels so comfy and easy going, you can watch the game on the jumbo screen at the main bar while sipping a nice pint of beer or wine or cocktails and snacks.
And you can see pitchers warming up through the glass as these players often practice and getting ready on the pitching mound located near the dugout. It’s their practice facility. Quite an interesting perspective to elevate your enjoyment of the game.
