Sneak Peek Dining Experience - Eataly at CF Toronto Eaton Centre

On the MOVE for the Sneak Peek of Eataly at CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

We were invited for a pre-opening dining experience as Eataly Eaton Culinary Team needs some repetition going thru a mock service.

During this sneak peek dining experience, we were greeted with amuse bouche, a cocktail or an non-alcoholic beverage. Each of us can choose 1 appetizer and 1 main course. Since we have a group of 4, we decided to order 4 different appetizers to share.

Appetizers:

1) Housemade pork & beef meatballs

2) Fried calamari

3) Prosciutto with mixed olives

4) Housemade Burrata, Tuscan Tomato-Bread Soup

Main Course:

1) Pan-Seared Norwegian salmon

2) Beef stew

3) Crispy breaded chicken breast

4) Freshly oven pizza

Overall, the mock-up service was smooth, we were impressed with the pace of the food being served to us in a reasonable time. Our server was attentive and the rest of the team and executives consistently came over to greet us or check if we are good.

Main courses were great. In particular, we were very impressed with the appetizer. Luv the presentation, the freshness of the ingredients and the taste. The housemade meatballs were juicy and delicious. The housemade Burrata looks like beef tartare until you bite on it, it’s the freshly tomato-bread soup with nice Burrata and you could taste the fresh ingredients.

Since it’s a trial mock service run, dessert wasn’t offered but we were able to try the cappuccino, americano and espresso. We hope to come back again to try the dessert and more dishes in the future. Eataly Eaton is definitely a welcome addition to the mall across the Nike Shop and beside Simons.

Eataly Eaton will be opened on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 3:00 PM. It features 2 floors with the grab-and-go counters on the 1st floor and with more products, groceries and the restaurants on the 2nd floor via the escalator.
