This was my 1st time trying Taste of Hong Kong and ordered the crispy pork chop dan dan noodles.
Luv the portion size, plenty of noods. Crispy pork and size were reasonable. This was the ONLY food vendor at this food court that offers dan dan noodles options.
A nice touch when you can order an iced tea at no charge as complimentary when ordering the dan dan crispy pork noods.
Good price as it comes to around $10.15 CDN (including tax).
Only drawback was the broth was a bit watery for dan dan style. However, it earned my respect when the flavour was good but hoping the broth would be better more viscosity. That’s my preference.
I look forward to trying more food items at this Taste of Hong Kong.
MoVernie FUN FACT: This food stall is located inside Chartwell Shopping Plaza. I grew up visiting this place a lot more often back in the days when we visited the HK style cafe, the Chinese restaurant for dim sum and grocery shopping and getting dried goods in the store. This place has changed so much as I didn’t even know there is another plaza just across this and sharing the same parking spot. I did appreciated this Chartwell Plaza is still well-lit, bright, clean and have stores and not those other abandoned old shopping plaza. Keep up the good work Chartwell Management!
