Recently, whenever I dined at House of Gourmet Chinese restaurant, I walked pass this Yue Lai Buffet 悦来自助快餐 next store. I think it’s relatively Asian Buffet, it’s always close since I go to eat in Chinatown usually after attending some VIP parties nearby.
But I am interested to check this place out one time as it’s all-you-can-eat dine in with a variety of Chinese food items. At $17.99 CDN + tax a person, it’s pretty good value and reasonable price. Judging from the store sign, it looks like everything is self-serve from putting waste in the garbage can, I guess that’s the only way they can run the business offering such value and pricing.
But of course, I don’t eat that much these days that I don’t know if I get any value out of eating buffet anymore. So, at the very least, I need to know the quality, taste and the food they serve before I can come up with a conclusion.
NOTE: It looks like every night from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, it’s $12.99 CDN + tax per person. It’s worth a try before closing town but I don’t know how much food is left to consume by then.
