1911 Historic City Hall – Art Exhibits – Lake Charles, Louisiana

0

This historic city hall building has a number of floors filled with various different styles of artwork on display. It’s a cool spot. They also showcased short temporary art exhibits that will rotate after several months to keep the exhibit area fresh with new art collection. For example, currently, they are showcasing the “John F. Kennedy’s Life & Times”.

Also, the architecture of the building is very cool as well. It has a rare 4-sided manual clock.

By the way, this is also a great area to check out the Lake Charles Mardi Gras Parade. You can see the floats clearly and have a good chance of getting the beads.
