(1st Ever Outdoor Terrace) Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge – San Francisco International Airport (SFO) – Terminal 2

Air Canada has launched many Maple Leaf Lounges at various airports from around the world, but this marks the 1st time that a Maple Leaf Lounge offers an outdoor terrace for its guests. And it’s located at the Terminal 2 of the San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

During this Press Trip where Air Canada flew me from Toronto to San Francisco to cover this brand new Maple Leaf Lounge, I was able to experience and tour the entire lounge. Let me tell you, this lounge is marvelous, it’s spacious, quite a large space and it’s very inviting and nicely layout.

In particular, my 2 favourite sections at this Maple Leaf Lounge is the bar area + outdoor terrace.

The bar area will be a hoppin’ spot for guests to enjoy some specialty cocktails that are only offered at this SFO location and it always a good spot to mix and mingle with other travelers or with the bartenders. I really enjoyed its Signature Cocktails called “Golden Gate” and “Fleur de Sakura”. Both are tasty and smooth to indulge.

As for the outdoor terrace, I luv how spacious this outdoor space is. The backdrop of the Air Canada x Golden Gate art mural with the air control centre located beside it, all work so well together for a photogenic picture.

The tall glass windows allow the guests to plane watch, while the audio proof glass will reduce the amount of noises produced by the airplanes, so it’s very peaceful and soothing while visually inviting.

The furniture and the layout are nicely planned here at the outdoor terrace. There are big colourful Muskoka lawn chairs, fireplace, blankets, comfy sofa and chairs. You can sit anywhere and it would be a nice experience. In particular, the evening would be nice and cozy with a nice evening ambience.

Be sure to check out this outdoor terrace and the Maple Leaf Lounge the next time you are visiting the SFO airport.

If you are visiting SFO, make sure you utilize the Maple Leaf Lounge. But of course, make sure you are eligible to access this brand new Maple Leaf Lounge.

The return flights from Toronto to San Francisco and this special Maple Leaf private event was provided by Air Canada. However, as always, the opinions expressed in this post is entirely my own.
