When the Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) first announced the 2022 Hockey Hall of Fame inductees, I was impressed with how awesome this group of inductees are.

The Class of 2022 consists of the following people – Daniel Alfredsson, Herb Carnegie, Roberto Luongo, Riikka Sallinen, Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin.

In particular, Daniel Alfredsson, Roberto Luongo, Daniel and Henrik Sedin (Sedin Twins) are being inducted all in the same year! Wow!

They all were super iconic and popular during their prime NHL days. Moreover, they all played for Canadian teams at some point in their careers. They all played a BIG role with their respective teams. Alfredsson, Sedin Twins are from Sweden and making a huge impact to the European fans and those who idolize them growing up and wanted to be part of the NHL some day.

And can you imagine this? Both Daniel and Henrik Sedin ONLY played for one team in their entire career, which was the Vancouver Canucks. Both were drafted and played for Vancouver. How cool is that? I don’t think there are any other twins who started and finished with only one franchise.

This is a solid group and I am looking forward to attend this special event from November 11 to November 14, 2022.
