You all know how much I luv craft beers. Everytime I am On the MOVE for my “Ontario Travel Series”, I look for craft breweries to try them at the breweries (if the regulation allows walk-in) or I will buy some take home & share the craft beers with my family.
Hence we were super excited when we realized Madoc, Ontario has its own craft brewery called “7/62 Craft Brewers”.
Why do they called “7/62”? That’s coz Madoc, Ontario is the junction of Highway 7 & Highway 62. Simple as that but with great meaning.
And recognizing it’s own roots, 7/62 Craft Brewers has a craft beer named “Madoc Dark Red Ale” & “Hastings Canadian Ale”, paying homage to its town and geographical surroundings. Bravo!
If you are driving on the scenic route of Highway 7 or on your way back from Ottawa to Toronto, make sure to make a stop to taste a beer flight or buy some to taste it when you are back home.
