Today, I received a media release from Arajet as it announced that Arajet will turn Santo Domingo (capital of Dominican Republic) into the new hub of the continent with 22 Destinations in 15 Countries. You can fly from Canada (starting October 24 from Toronto and starting November 7 from Montreal) to Santo Domingo at low prices and as well connecting to with Punta Cana and Santiago de los Caballeros. This is super great news for people from the Caribbean to visit Canada with Arajet and vice versa with Canadians more accessible to visit the warmer climate destinations in the Caribbean and nearby regions.

Based on the Arajet media release, the airline offering low prices of the Caribbean, will open
5 new routes in the coming weeks with which it will increase its map of connections, turning
Santo Domingo into a new air hub of the American continent.

Arajet begun its operations back in September 15, 2022, so it will celebrate its 1st anniversary by
adding new routes from Santo Domingo to Sao Paulo (Sept. 21), followed by Toronto (Oct. 24), Santiago de Chile (Oct. 29), Montreal (Nov. 7) and Buenos Aires (Nov. 14). These are all new major routes.

With these new routes, there will be now 22 Arajet destinations in 15 countries in which it operates
and offers more than 140 combinations of connections from all its different destinations,
providing flights from Montreal and Toronto to Santiago de Chille, Medellin, Sao Paulo,
Cartagena, Aruba, Kingston, Curacao, and Saint Martin through Las Americas International
Airport in Santo Domingo.

To start, flights from Toronto to Santo Domingo will be operating twice a week (Tuesdays and
Fridays). As from Montreal to Santo Domingo, there will be three flights a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).

Arajet is defined as an airline of low prices, not low costs, since according to its CEO Víctor
Pacheco “although we have a cost structure similar to low-cost companies, we differentiate the
quality of our service, that we are building a Hub, that we have long flights and that we were
born with a fleet of new aircraft”. He also assured that “Arajet has come to democratize air
transport in the region so that everyone can travel at the best market price, without risking
operational safety. For us it is a pride to connect the continent and that the Arajet effect reaches
all the countries of the region.

Likewise, Arajet will continue to connect most of its flights in Central America, South America,
and North America with Punta Cana, which will allow passengers to take to their destination
without having to buy that service separately. Tickets can be booked at
