Bench Brewing Company - Beamsville, Ontario - Old Spice Mike @TheLocalBoutiqueWine Tour

During the fall season of every year, it’s the most busiest time for staff at the wineries coz it’s the “Harvest Season”. As Torontonian, we luck out by living so close to one of the best winery regions around the world. The Niagara-on-the-lake region is home to many wineries coz of its ideal soil conditions, geography and its abundance of natural resources. In addition to the well-known Nigara-on-the-lake region, the areas beside it are also good for wineries and breweries. This includes the Grimsby and Beamsville regions.

To be honest, I didn’t know much about Grimsby and Beamsville until I met “Old Spice Mike”, he is a very knowledgeable person in the wine and beer industries. He is a representative that represents a number of local wineries in the area. In fact, he is the owner of “The Local Boutique Wine” that helps local wineries in distributing wines to restaurants in the GTA. So…if you ever dine at your favourite local restaurants, you may most likely see some of the wines on its wine menu that are represented by The Local Boutique Wine.

My Pink Dreams FAM, Jennifer Ettinger and Andrea Watts decided to join me along with Old Spice Mike on a full-day tour visiting various wineries that he represented. We will be on a wine-tasting tour. Moreover, since Old Spice Mike knows how much I luv beer and many of my followers who may prefer beer over wine, he made a detour to bring us to the Bench Brewering Company to taste some of the local beer, take a beer tour with the Manager, Lindsay and learned the history of this piece of land and the buildings that they re-used and renovated to use it as a brewering manufacturing company of what is today!
