Bob Blumer’s New Show – Weirdest Restaurants

I know alot of peeps like me who loves to try new restaurants, tasting awesome food around the cities or around the world. Now, have you ever tried eating curry from a ceramic toilet bowl or having ice-cream that shapes like a #2 in brown colour? How about having a monkey as your server or dip in ice cold beer for a bath? Well, neither do I, you are not alone.

Last week, I went to a food seminar at the First Canadian Place, hosted by the famous Food Network host, Bob Blumer. He has a new show series called “World’s Weirdest Restaurants”. He has spent the past six months researching around the globe in search of the world’s weirdest restaurants.

During the seminar, Bob talks about how he accidentally became a Food Network Host when he was first a manager for a singer. He would described his career as an “Accidental Career” in the industry. That tells you anything is possible in life and sometimes destiny will drive you into various opportunities. So, just work hard at whatever you do in life b/c chances are, you just never know where it leads you. Good things may happen.

So, next month, Canada’s Food Network will air Bob Blumer’s new series in which he and his camera crew sample the delights of 52 off-the-wall eateries, the most wacky of which were discovered in the US and Tokyo.

Be sure to check it out because I know this show will be very popular because if you ask me, I would definitely want to try to eat food from a toilet bowl, for the one-time experience and just to see how it messes my mind into thinking “It’s ok to eat it from a toilet bowl”. I am sure it would take time for my brain to make that adjustment.
