IPW 18: Denver, Colorado – City Tour

0

During the entire IPW 18 Travel Convention, in between appointments & luncheons, there was free time for me to roam around the downtown core of Denver, Colorado. And I highly recommend anyone to spend sometime to check out the host city so that we are not just stuck at the Denver Convention Centre, but to be really able to get a taste of what the city that you are visited in is like. To really know the city, it’s important to check out the local restaurants, museums, outdoor activities, the city itself and just roam around and check out what you see. Just explore!

We decided to walk around the downtown core of Denver and we saw statues, historical building such as the City Hall. There were so many awesome Instagram worthy spots to snap photos and videos.

Check out the photos I have below.

Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building
Address: 201 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80202, USA
(14th Street South & US-287 intersection)

The statue located outside the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building fascinates me. It is artsy and it shows a split of a human face.

Colorado State Capitol

Address: 200 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80203, USA

With just a walk of 15 minutes from the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building, you will see this beautiful architecture of “The Colorado State Capitol Building”. It is located at 200 East Colfax Avenue and is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. I was attracted by its beautiful golden roof.
