PEAR AND LYCHEE MARTINI (Pear Vodka, Elderflower, Fresh Lemon, Lychee, Orchid)

In our traditional Asian culture, most Asian cuisine are paired with hot tea or non-alcoholic beverages. But that’s the OG way of the dining experience. But things have changed in recent times, foodies are more open minded to try new things and accept fusion food and cocktails pairings.

At Din Tai Fung Vegas location, located inside the Aria Resort & Casino, it offers a nice list of unique cocktails to complement with the traditional signature food items. It’s so refreshing to see that alcoholic drinks are being paired with delicious Asian food. I wish more Asian restaurants are opened up to curate a list of cocktails with their signature dishes. This is the new trend and it’s the way to go and I am super glad Din Tai Fung is being forward thinking.

At Din Tai Fung Vegas, we would like to give a special thanks to MGM Resorts, Aria Resort & Casino for inviting and hosting the crew. Sakura, the manager at Din Tai Fung insisted our crew to try its signature cocktails. She is amazing and provided awesome recommendations. She said the cocktails would be perfect pairing with the food items and she was spotted on!

DTF OLD FASHIONED (Japanese Whisky, Taiwanese Oolong Tea Syrup, Orange Bitters)

In particular, she recommend Din Tai Fung (DTF) Old Fashioned. We luv Old Fashioned, but to have a DTF Old Fashioned pairing with the truffle Xiao Long Bao was off the charts! Oh mine! Sakura also suggested a special cocktail of the night, the Yuzu Margarita was tasty, tropical yet refreshing. So good!

YUZU MARGARITA (Tequila Blanco, Grand Marnier, Honey, Yuzu Juice, Yuzu Syrup)

Have you ever had an alcoholic bubble tea before? Din Tai Fung has a spicy boba (in USA, they refer bubble tea as boba). Spiced boba with tapioca, now that’s a first. Special shoutout to our server, Jian who recommended us with this beverage to go as the crew have a Cirque Du Soleil show to watch afterwards. Perfect drink to walk around (it’s allowed in Vegas and hence what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, LOL).

SPICED BOBA (Vodka Vanilla, Kahlúa, Black Tea, Creamer, Toasted Cinnamon, Boba)

When you visit Din Tai Fung at Aria in Las Vegas, we highly recommend you to start off with its cocktails, followed by ordering the Xiao Long Bao, we guarantee you that you will have a great evening for sure!
