Petty Cash Restaurant & Bar – Toronto, Ontario

Petty Cash Toronto is the new hotspot in the 6ix. It’s a restaurant and bar with good vibes.

You know, there are tons of pubs and bars in Toronto already but Petty Cash brings a different positive vibe that attracts me. It’s just different. Perhaps is the thoughtful decor, lights, retro accessories and tons of Instagram worthy spots that makes this a great place to hang out.

The first thing you will notice is an inflated pink pig located outside of the resto (perhaps it’s only there at the grand opening), you can’t miss it.. Patio is open and it’s perfect timing for the Canada Day Long Weekend celebration, plus the summer Torontonians are finally getting some nice heat.

Moment I walked into the entrance, I saw the “Mo Money, Mo Problems” floor tiles, more importantly, I felt right at home with my  “MoVernie” name. We are the “Mo Family!” LOL

Walked a few steps down the stairs and I saw the friendly greeters. This place decided to have a dark environment so that the glowing neon lights are evident throughout the entire space. It’s a spot to hang out with friends and loved ones, chillin with a drink in hand, perhaps some appetizers and share. Listening to the DJ spinning some nice tunes at the DJ Booth. If you want to play pool, there is a pool table at the back with TV screens around, perfect to watch some sports games. And one of my favourite walls at Petty Cash? The “wall of cassette tapes”. Remember those? I don’t even know how to use a cassette player anymore but it’s retro. Those were the days, definitely a throwback Thursday or something. It’s definitely Instagram worthy but also brought back all the great memories when I was a kid.

Petty Cash Toronto is now open. See for yourself and I highly recommend this new hotspot.
