Did you know….that Peru has the world’s highest sand dune?

It’s true! The Cerro Blanco sand dune in the Sechura Desert measures 3,860 from top to bottom, that’s over 1 kilometre deep!

A popular activity is to hike all the way to the summit and use a sand-board to slide your way back down to the bottom.

And of course, if you can see this beautiful sunset along the way, that would be icing on the cake.
