The 2017 NBA All-Star game is to be held in New Orleans (NOLA), Louisiana, home of the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Arena. But it is also home to many good seafood and unique Cajun cuisine. To all the NBA fans and Toronto Raptors fans out there, if you are heading to New Orleans to participate the NBA All-Star festivities and wanted to know where the good food & drinks are, sightseeing places and cool entertainment hotspots, be sure to follow my MoVernie BLOG and I got you covered! I have visited NOLA twice, with the first time on a personal leisure and the second time attending IPW16, one of the largest travel & tourism conference in the United States, so I got the opportunities to check out many hidden gems and good spots to share with you!
In this segment of my MoVernie BLOG, I would like to introduce you to Drago’s Seafood Restaurant. If you are travelling to famous Riverside for a walk, make sure to stop by at Drago’s, it’s located inside the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. Drago’s is famous for many seafood dish but its well-known charbroiled oysters is a MUST-ORDER! They have the open kitchen where you can even sit along the high stools to check out the hardworking chefs using high heat and fire to charbroiled these oysters on the spot. I can’t imagine the number of charbroiled oysters orders they have to serve each day, it’s insane!
Drago’s also served other seafood items in case you are not that of a fan for oysters. There are the big lobsters, fish and other delicious items.
