I was invited to an exclusive VIP Fashion Show Party at The Spoke Club, which is located at King Street West. Normally, The Spoke Club is a private membership club which welcomes young professionals to mingle and network with other young professionals.
After a long day work on a friday afternoon, I sprayed my hair gold, dress in stylish clothes and arrived at The Spoke Club at 5:30pm. First thing you noticed, all participants were stylish and they wore clothes that gave them an unique personality. So, as usual, I dressed to impress.
Open bar in effect, I grabbed an ice cold to start off the event. The Spoke Club is located on the 4th floor. The main floor has a dining area, so they do serve food. A nice lounge area as well. There is a flight of stairs to walk down a floor, that’s where the Lark & Hazel fashion show is located. Our entourage sat on the two sides of the catwalk. It was super hot inside, really admire how the models didn’t have a sweat.
Shows began, out came beautiful models one by one wearing this year’s latest fashion. Lark & Hazel makes elegant, expressive and sophisticated clothing and jewelry for the contemporary shopper. It’s a classy collection with clothes that you can surely wear to work in the office place. It adds extra spice and refreshness to the clothes that you can wear in the Corporate setting. Orange and silky dress shirts is the theme in this collection that caught my eye. It signifies the spring weather. I love it!
After the 10 minutes show (typical fashion show doesn’t last more than 15 minutes), we all walked up to grab a few more drinks, then we walked to the rooftop. The rooftop is the key, nice view of the Toronto skycrappers and skyline, along with nice bar lounge and live music played by the DJ. What a great event!
