(First Drive) 2020 Acura MDX A-SPEC

0

This week, my test vehicle is the 2020 Acura MDX A-SPEC. It’s a sporty luxurious SUV that is one of the best selling vehicles in Canada for many years. For my tester, it’s the MDX in trim level “A-SPEC” that has some cool visual cues for the outside and for the inside. And I really like the body paint that Acura described it as “Apex Blue Pearl”. It’s so sharp and stands out from the crowd.

*Just a note that this particular design of the MDX has been serving its customers for a good 5 years run. A totally brand new MDX will be arriving in 2021 as a 2022 model. So, it will be interesting for me to see how this 2020 MDX outgoing version flares after its 5-year run. Will this MDX be outdated or is it still going strong against its competitors. We will find out soon from my overall product review BLOG later in a few weeks.

My 1st impression of this Acura MDX A-SPEC? It looks sharp, sporty and the “Apex Blue Pearl” body paint really stands out from the crowd. In particular, I really like the Acura signature “Angel Jewel” LED head lights. I also like the front grill. And I luv those front and 2nd row sporty Alcantara seats. It’s functionally comfy and it’s sharp looking.

Special shout out to Acura Canada for providing me with this MDX A-SPEC for a week of test drive experience!
