This week, I am On the MOVE with this sporty ride. Introducing the all-new 2021 BMW M440i xDrive sports coupe. This ride has an exterior paint called “Dravit Grey Metallic” coupled with the “Tacora Red Vernasca Leather” interior.
My 1st impression of this BMW M440i? I really like the looks on this coupe. It looks sporty, luxurious and refined. I felt the exterior grey colour is a perfect match with the red leather interior. The BMW Laserlight (headlights) shines and the blue colour added “LIFE” to the ride and looks good day & night. There are plenty of technologies everywhere around the car and it shows you what luxury is all about. Particularly, I am super impressed with the digital dashboard and the intuitive infotainment system in this vehicle. It’s very functional, high-tech and super straight forward to use. What amazed me is also the xDrive all-wheel drive system which is especially super useful when driving under rough winter road conditions.
Let’s talk about that BIG kidney grill: Ok, you know I will discuss about the big kidney grill on the front of this M440i coupe. As many of you know, BMW’s signature design always consists of the double kidney grill. However, for generations and generations of the BMW models, the kidney grill is relatively proportional with the rest of the front design. However, to spice up the 4-Series a bit, the BMW designers opted to create a super huge double kidney grill. It creates quite a controversial stir in the automotive world. Many hates it and some love it. Personally, I am indifferent. I don’t think it’s ugly, in fact, I think it’s quite aggressive, bad-ass and giving the coupe something different. I think this is going to be the new direction the BMW is going and will implement this style into other future BMW products.
MoVernie QUESTION: Do you like or hate the new BMW big double kidney grill on this M440i? Please comment and let me know. I am curious to hear what you think.
