This week, as part of my “Acura-Honda Series”, I am On the MOVE with this 2022 Honda Civic Sedan Touring. This is the totally redesigned, all-new 2022 Honda Civic Sedan that is built on home soil in Alliston, Ontario, Canada.
This is a truly special moment for our team at MoVernie on the MOVE as this 2022 Civic is one of the first batch of vehicles being rolled out and being test drive by the Canadian journalists. This is still super fresh as you may start to see only a few at the dealership or you will probably not seen many on the road yet. It is that new! We are truly honoured to be one of the early auto content creators to get to check this 2022 Civic and test drive it for a week. Special shoutout to Honda Canada for giving us this ride.
My 1st impression of this 2022 Honda Civic? It’s very clear to see that Honda has decided to move into the direction of bringing simplicity, more refine and modern. Based on the exterior look, you can tell that the Honda Designers want the 2022 Civic to be simple, easy on the eyes and remove any unnecessary fake vents from the front and the back that some Civic Fans who didn’t like from the outgoing model.
I honestly prefer the outgoing Civic myself as it’s more of my type, sporty, aggressive and edgy. However, I have to admit, the more I am driving this 2022 Civic and the more I stare at it, it grows on me. I think the Sonic Grey Pearl body paint stands out and give this new Civic an unique style and elegance to it. I also like those rim design with silver and gun metal colours mixed into the rim. In particular, I dig the 2022 Civic interior more. It’s more refined, upscale and I definitely like the honey comb ventilation design and the bigger infotainment screen and the amazing Bose 12-speaker sound system (with subwoofer) found in this “Touring” trim level added that extra touch and enjoyment!
