After finishing the Miss Universe Canada boat cruise, stomach was hungry, so decided to head across the docks to this Japanese restaurant called Guirei. You will wondered in the middle of a quiet part of the Harbourfront that there is actually a restaurant. You know it! Entered the restaurant, greeted by friendly staff, sat down and ordered this supreme bento dinner. For $19.95, it came with a lot of unexpected appetizers, which is a little bit more than normal Japanese restaurant. For starter, it came with fried pancakes, warm soba noodle, miso soup and green salad. In my supreme bento box, it came with 12 pieces of sashimi (3 pcs each of salmon, snapper, butterfish & tuna), then teriyaki salmon and 6 pcs of tempura, which 2 of the 6 pcs are tempura shrimps. They are nicely done, nice and in warm temperature.

The best part about this restaurant is that it also have alcohol license that serves alcohol. Normally, peeps will want to order the warm sake, but this time, after drinking bait on the boat cruise, it’s time to take it easy. They have draft of Canadian local brewery SteamWhistle on tap.

So, in the middle of a quiet area, there is a nice japanese restaurant that can fill your tummy, I am all 100% love this restaurant.

Great service, great authentic japanese food and great quality of food. I really enjoyed the extra items starters items.
