“Guys Night Out” Event @ The Bay – MoVernie LifeStyle

Last year, The “Guys Night Out” event at The Bay was awesome, especially they had former Raptors Andrea Bargnani & Jose Calderon dressing up, meeting & greeting the fans.

Although there were no Raptors players this year (even though I could see guys like Amir Johnson, Rudy Gay would be a good fit for this event as they are both stylish fashionable people), it was a great night. The food and games stations were alot better this year. It’s more simple and interactive.

This event was to promote the re-launch of the 2nd Floor at The Bay flagship store with the new menswear clothing line and bigger men’s section.

Have you ever walk around a retail store, sipping scotch? beer? wine? gourmet finger foods while shopping for clothes? That’s an awesome experience, holding a glass of wine and checking out clothes and we DID just that last night at the “Guys Night Out” Event.

The gourmet finger foods were top notch quality, the gigantic shrimp cocktails. Those were super-sized shrimps along with its special sauce on it, it was so juicy and delish. There were also mushroom dumplings, crab cakes, rice rolls, goat cheese biscuit, mini roast beef sliders, mini hamburgers. There were unlimited supply of them and special shoutouts to the hardworking servers who were constantly coming in-and-out to serve us!

Italian Peroni beer was being served everywhere. Top scotch was served as well at different stations. Special cocktail by Appleton Rum was on hand. If you buy $75+ of clothes at The Bay during the night, you get to spin a wheel to win more nice prizes (although, last year’s prizes were way better, motivating more people to buy more clothese last year, at least I did last year).

Fun games were located around the 2nd floor for the participants to win prizes. There was the bike riding challenge where you have to peddle as hard as you can to generate power to get the most distance. The top 10 furthest distance winners win a pair of Levis Commuter jeans. Another docker’s station have people needing to go inside the change room booth, take off their pants and wear the dockers pants in the quickest time. The top 10 fastest changers win a pair of dockers.

There were all kinds of activities around the 2nd floor that fun times just go by quickly. I especially enjoyed the Converse Photobooth, located at the shoes section. We grabbed the Converse shoes as props and post with it, it was fun & creative. I particularly like this photobooth service, we saw them during Hello Canada TIFF party. This photobooth has amazing backdrop, quick photo printing machine with high photo quality as well as another copy emailing being sent straight to your email inbox instantly so you can share with your family & friends.

All-in-all, I had a great time hanging out with my friends and we enjoyed a great night all complimentary by The Bay. If you have time, I recommend you to check out the 2nd floor of The Bay beside the Eaton Centre. It’s a total relaunch with better men clothing brands, bigger space and nicer decor to shop around!

Thank you The Bay for your invitation.
