How To Redeem Hong Kong Goodies (Welcome Gift)?
You will receive a Hello Hong Kong gift card in purple colour packaging.

And this is what it looks like from the back.
You have to slowly and gingerly tear the crest to open the card. Inside, you will see a card in both Chinese & English with instructions on how to redeem your welcome gift.
From what we saw, each gift card allows you to redeem 1 welcome gift.
4 Major Categories that you can redeem your welcome gift.
- Attraction – you can redeem from one of the participating tourist attraction.
- Shopping – you can redeem from one of the participating retail stores/services.
- Dining – you can redeem from one of the participating restaurants.
- Welcome Drink – you can redeem from one of the participating bars.
Here are the easy steps as instructed by the card provided inside the Hello Hong Kong Gift Card.
1) Scan the QR code on this card
2) Open an account in just a few simple steps
3) Choose your preferred coupon and add it to “My Wallet”
4) Redeem your welcome gift at a designated merchant
As simple as 1,2,3,4!
NOTE: After you have successfully created your account, there is a notification that alerts you to redeem your welcome gift before December 31, 2023.

– Once you open the Hong Kong Goodies Gift Card, there is a card inside, pull it out and you will see the 4 easy steps at the back of the card (same as the steps I have listed above).
– Scan the QR code with your Smartphone, a link should pop up on your QR code app.
– Click the link and it will lead you to the Hong Kong Tourism Board welcome page. Create an account before you can login and redeem your welcome gift.
– Type in your first name, last name, email address, user name as well as your phone number (Note: This welcome gift is intended for tourists who don’t reside and live in Hong Kong, thus, your phone # should NOT be a Hong Kong number. In order to successfully redeem the welcome gift, your phone number should be outside of Hong Kong.
– You can choose to get a code via SMS (text to your phone or via your email). You can choose. We chose to receive the code via SMS. Within less than a few minutes, you should receive a text message with the 6 digits code, type it in and then you will proceed with the rest of your registration.
– The Hong Kong Goodies page will show up from the Hong Kong Tourism Board webpage, you can scroll to decide how you want to redeem your 1 e-coupon, you can redeem a tourist attraction or a retail shop or a restaurant for a dining experience or a welcome drink from a bar. You choose!
– Once you have chosen your item, “Add to My Wallet” to complete the redeem process.
