Honda Canada Monopoly Board Game - 30th Anniversary

The 6 collectible tokens for the Honda Canada Monopoly board game.

As from my previous MoVernie BLOG post that I had received a limited edition Honda Canada Monopoly board game, so I wanted to research more to find out what this 30th Anniversary celebration is all about.

Apparently, this game is created to celebrate Honda Canada 30th Anniversary in Canada. In 1986, Honda became the first Japanese automaker to build cars in Canada. The Alliston Ontario plant pumped out Accords, then Civics and then Odysseys and CR-Vs, then Ridgelines etc, providing jobs for Canadians and providing great vehicles for the Canadian families.

To celebrate this accomplishment, Honda Canada created this Honda-themed Monopoly Game. Through Google search and reading other articles, apparently, only Honda employees have a chance to purchase them or have one (I don’t know, couldn’t confirm that).

Since I ain’t a Honda employee, I thank Honda Canada and its PR team for the lovely gift. I really love this, especially it comes with 6 special Honda vehicles Monopoly tokens. It’s definitely a milestone to celebrate about!

Check out my photos below as I show you the board game from all angles. It has both Honda and Acura play cards and all kinds of goodies. This is definitely a collectable and a keeper.
