(Hotel Room) ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East – Ginza, Tokyo, Japan [JAPAN TRAVEL SERIES]

During my visit to Tokyo, Japan, I was hosted here at the ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East. I enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. The staff were friendly and competent. The hotel room was clean, organized and modern.

My hotel room had a tatami style (floor mats and low chairs and tables to sit with my legs crossed, the traditional Japanese style).

Without further adieu, let me show you my hotel room here at ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East.

The hallway on my floor looked very modern, chic and stylish. It’s my cup of coffee.

As I opened my hotel room, there were nice cubbies for me to grab my slippers to use for the public bath at the rooftop of this hotel as well as putting my shoes in this area before I walk to the rest of my tatami hotel room.

Tatami is a traditional Japanese mat flooring that was widely used back in the ancient Japanese lifestyle. Back then, Japanese people sleeps, eat, drink and does their homework or write crossing their legs on these mat flooring. It’s part of their daily lives.

My bathroom had a toto toilet with buttons to control the bidet features such as water pressure, oscillation options to clean myself after a number 1 or number 2. Luv all the Japanese toilets in Japan.

The tatami floor mats throughout my room with curtains hanging near the window which overlooking the street. I have to praise how good the soundproof of this hotel room. I couldn’t hear anyone outside nor hearing anyone from the next room. I don’t hear any vehicles or noise from outside the street, allowing me to have a wonderful sleep.

As you can see from the photo below, it’s very typical for Japanese hotel to offer air fresher that you can spray your hotel room. Also, there were hooks for me to put my jackets and clothes.

There was a nice flat screen TV with a queen size comfy bed. It also came with a mini fridge with wine glasses plus a personal safe to put my valuables. Moreover, there was a humidifier.

For the 1st time in my life that a hotel offered a foot massager. I used it, it worked and much needed relaxation. Watch my video as I used the foot massager.

MoVernie TIP: When in Japan and you are check-in a hotel, make sure to bring and provide your hardcopy of your passport to the concierge. Whenever I read Google Reviews, hotel guests often complained how they didn’t have their passports or only carried a photocopy of their passports and then complained the hotel for not giving them with a room. Well…you just got to do your research ahead of time and ensure you are prepared to avoid any misunderstanding or causing you and the hotel any inconvenience. If you do your research and be prepared, everyone would be happy. You can’t fault the staff for abiding the Japanese government tourist guidelines and procedures.
