Humayun’s Tomb is a mausoleum in Delhi, India, that was built by Humayun’s chief consort, Empress Bega Begum. ⁠

The tomb is considered to be one of the finest Mughal structures in India. It has been described as “one of the most outstanding monuments of Indian architecture” by UNESCO and “the first truly great garden tomb on the subcontinent.”⁠

The tomb was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.
