Imanishi Basement Bar - Japanese Izakaya & Drinks - Toronto, Canada

Imanishi opened its first restaurant in the west end of Toronto, Canada. In recent months, it had opened a 2nd one called “Imanishi Basement Bar”, located in Cabbagetown underneath Zakkushi. What I like about this 2nd location is the fact that there is no signage or special store front. Instead, it’s more like “if you know, you know” type of deal. It’s super low-key, a perfect place on a date night or having a few friends to chill and catch up.

Imanishi Basement Bar is a perfect place to go after dining a full meal elsewhere. That’s coz at this basement bar, it’s more meant for nice drinks and small size snack food items. Thus, I wouldn’t recommend you to come empty stomach.
