Jinya Ramen Bar – Toronto (New Food Items)

0

Jinya Ramen Bar has many locations, from Japan to Los Angeles to Toronto and in many parts of the world.

Most foodies who visited Jinya Ramen Bar knows its signature ramen is the Spicy Chicken Ramen that comes with its signature chicken brother, chicken chashu, spinach, spicy bean sprouts, green onions and served with thin noodles.

This time, I am trying new food items on the menu. I ordered the new Sukiyaki Q Ramen. It’s pork broth, beef sukiyaki, green onion, onsen tamago & served with thin noodles. It’s a great combo. The beef sukiyaki is marinated nicely with flavour and work well with the broth. The beef is thinly sliced and it’s juicy & tender.

Another new item (but for limited time only to August 30, 2017) is the Chef’s Special called “Kara-Men”. It’s clear chicken broth, ground pork, bean sprouts, green onion, onion, cilantro, chili paste, onsen tamago (poached egg), sesame seeds with thin noodles. From the photo, it looks spicy but in reality, it’s not, it’s slightly spicy and it’s a good blend of ingredients.

I also ordered the salmon poke mini tacos. It’s a good appetizer complimenting the ramen noodles.

As for dessert, we got green tea mochi ice cream.

Next time you visit Jinya Ramen Bar, I highly recommend you to mix your game up and try order some of these new items or the Chef’s Special of the month.
